Rooted: Week By Week

This introductory week will introduce the Rooted experience, group members to each other, and expectations for the next ten weeks together.

With an emphasis on the main character (God) and themes of Scripture (creation, fall, redemption), groups should focus on new truths they've learned.

Covering areas as diverse as prayer, Bible reading, fasting, and the Holy Spirit, the week 3 discussion and prayer experience will strengthen group cohesion.

Creating a safe environment for discussion is key as your group grapples with the most difficult topic in the entire Rooted experience: suffering.

Vulnerability and a nonjudgmental attitude is key during a fruitful yet oftentimes uncomfortable conversation about sin.

We all crave purpose, and week this discussion seeks to take the first steps in understanding God's design for our unique gifts and contributions to his world.

This week's discussion revolves around living life on mission and getting involved in a lifestyle of service for the benefit of others.

During the special teaching and subsequent discussion, your group must grapple with what God says to the world's richest (you) about money. 

Sharing your story as a part of God's story can be intimidating, so your homework and discussion will offer help in the area of evangelism.

A source of great joy and great hurt, the Church is intended to be so much more than most people have been taught or experienced for themselves.

This evening will be a time to celebrate what God has done in the lives of everyone who has gone through Rooted in this season.
